Pressure-test the cooling system, flush old coolant, and replace tired hoses and thermostats before summer. An overheating truck on the freeway is a downtime event and a potential engine failure.
Batteries and charging
Heat kills batteries faster than cold. Load-test batteries and check charging output in spring so no-starts do not pile up in July.
AC and reefer
Cab AC keeps drivers safe and reefer units protect loads. Service both before the heat arrives. Recharge, leak-check, and inspect compressors and coils early.
